About our Tracy masonry contractor business

Who we are, how I got into masonry, what we care about on a job, and how to reach us for an estimate.

Modern stone-clad house with a broad light-paver driveway edged in dark river stones.

How I got into masonry here

I learned masonry as another owner's right hand, laying brick and stone, running jobs and answering homeowners' questions for years. In 2017 I started Quality Tracy Concrete and Masonry here in Tracy. Now homeowners in Tracy and the cities around it call us for worn mortar, tired chimneys, walls that lean, and new walls, patios and paths.

What I care about most is the part nobody sees, like the footing, the base and the way water gets out, because that's what decides how long the work holds up. That matters even more around Tracy, since the soil here can swell and shrink enough to shift a slab. If you'd like me to look at your wall, chimney or patio, send me a note and I'll come out.

What you can expect from us

  1. The person who writes your estimate runs your job

I come out to look at every job myself and write the estimate in plain words, so you can line it up against other bids point by point. Then our crew of masons does the work with me running it, so nothing gets lost between what we talked about and what gets built.

  2. Your questions get a real answer

We take the time to answer your questions at the estimate and while the work is going, so you know what we're doing and why. The second and third question are just as welcome as the first, because a good question early often saves a mistake later.

  3. We find the cause before we fix the crack

We look for what's letting water in or making things move before we fix the part you can see. New mortar or a new face on a wall that's still wet or still shifting just brings the same problem back.

Licensed and insured

Serving Tracy and 11 surrounding cities

  • California contractor license

Fully licensed and insured. The state licensing board requires a license when a job needs a building permit, uses any workers, or comes to $1,000 or more in labor and materials, and a bigger job can't be split into smaller contracts to get under that, so most masonry work calls for one.

  • Fully licensed and insured.
  • Free in-person estimates.
  • We respond within 1 business day.
